Kanban
Terms of Service
Effective 20 August 2026 · These terms govern your use of the Kanban web app and OpenAI plugin.
1. The service
Kanban lets you create, organise, render, save, and update private kanban boards through its web app and compatible MCP clients such as ChatGPT. Features may change as the service develops.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms; if local law requires it, a parent or guardian must consent.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of content you place in your boards. You give Kanban a limited permission to host, process, copy, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, and maintain the service. You are responsible for having the right to use the content and for checking AI-generated or transformed information before relying on it.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Kanban to break the law, infringe rights, distribute malware, probe or bypass security, access another person's data, overload the service, automate abusive traffic, or store credentials, payment-card data, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information. You may not misrepresent generated content as independently verified.
5. Connected platforms
Your use of ChatGPT, Google sign-in, or another third-party service is also governed by that provider's terms. Kanban is an independent service and is not endorsed by OpenAI, Google, Vercel, Neon, or Cloudflare. We are not responsible for third-party availability or decisions.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. Where practical, we will avoid unnecessary disruption to saved data.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Kanban at any time and may request account deletion through support@tofukanban.uk. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Kanban is provided on an “as available” basis. It is an organisational tool, not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss caused by content or third-party services outside our reasonable control.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law may hear disputes.
10. Contact and updates
Questions can be sent to support@tofukanban.uk. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means the new terms apply from that date.
